Multi Bed Home Provisions

Our Multi-Bed Home Is A 4 Bedroom Detached Property Located On The Outskirts Of Preston. The Home Is A Substantial Property And Is Set Over 3 Floors 

The ground floor has a large hallway, to the left is a lounge with separate WC, there is a second lounge off to the right of the hallway and a staff office /sleep room as you enter the building.

To the lower floor there is a large spacious dining room that opens up onto the back garden and patio area, then there is a fully equipped kitchen with large double fridge freezer, double oven, microwave, dishwasher, and other kitchen appliances. There is a separate laundry room with a large washing machine and tumble dryer.

The upper floor has a staff sleep bedroom with an en-suite shower room. There are 3 double sized bedrooms all with en-suite shower rooms for the young people.  The home has a long back garden with a lawn, raised flower bed with room for an herb/fruit/vegetable garden, this is accessed via the lower floor. The back garden has a large shed with gardening equipment and outdoor games. There is also a basketball hoop and football nets to the rear of the home.  The front of the home is accessed via a gated front entrance and driveway.

The home provides care for up to 3 young people. The children or young people have their own bedrooms and shower rooms, they share the communal kitchen/diner, lounge, and second lounge.

The young people’s bedrooms are beautifully furnished with a single bed, wardrobe, bedside cabinet, desk, and chair. The rooms have soft furnishings such as a bedside lamp, laundry basket, bedding, throws, towels, and bathmats.

The manager runs the home on a day-to-day basis, supporting staff and ensuring they are able to provide the best quality of care to the children and young people.

Our Multi-Bed Home works with a diverse range of young people who present many differing behaviours, inclusive of:

  • Emotional behavioural difficulties
  • Attachment issues
  • Mild Learning Difficulties
  • Substance Misuse
  • Absconding
  • Self-harm
  • CCE/CSE
  • Low self-esteem / confidence
  • Radicalisation
  • Have poor life skills and are approaching independence
